    Ashtavaidyan Thrissur Thaikat Unni Mooss founded SNA Oushadhasala in the year 1920, " https://thaikatmooss.com/ " is one of the oldest Ayurveda medicine manufacturers in Kerala. 

Thrissur Thaikat Mooss

         Pazhanellippurathu Thaikat Mooss family is one of the famous Ashtavaidya families and were the Royal physicians of King Zamoorin of Ancient Malabar Kingdom. Once the Mooss was invited by Cochin Province to treat the legendary SakthanThampuran, the King of Erstwhile Cochin. This lead the King Zamoorin to exile the Mooss family from his kingdom. SakthanThampuran rehabilitated the Mooss family at Thrissur and appointed them as SakthanThampuran’s Royal physician. Since thenthe family is known as Thrissur Thaikat Mooss.

Manufacturing Division

           SNA Oushadhasala is one of the earliest institutions in Kerala established in 1920. At the beginning, it was a small manufacturing unit of classical Ayurvedic formulations, which satisfy the need of family physician but later broadened the services to other Ashtavaidyas too. It survived all unconstructive attitudes during pre-independence time, emerged as most authentic place of health services.  And in later decades, it represented Ayurveda to other part of the states, provinces and in international arena too. Presently SNA reach to the customer through 15 branches in Kerala and more than 2000 outlets throughout the country.  

                     At present SNA has two manufacturing units, one in Kizhakkumpattukara (Head Office) and another in Arimboor. It has global acceptance with more than 400 classical formulations, 50 traditional preparations and 25 patent products. Classical formulations denote Kashayas (Decoctions), Kashayam Tablets, Arishtas and Asavas (Fermented forms), Tailas (Medicated oils), Ghrutas (Medicated ghee), Choornas (Powders), Bhasmas (Powders), Gulikas (Tablets), Lehas (Liqueres) etc. forms from ancient treatises while traditional preparations are formulations transferred from generations of practice. 

        Patent products includes syrups, creams, liniments etc., which fulfill the need of minor ailments for counter sale. It also represents the new generation pharmaceutical form with all ancient known ingredients. All the preparations are manufactured under the supervision of Ashtavaidyas with laboratorial tests done under department of quality control. Hence, it assures the time-tested traditional with lab-tested chemical and pharmacological parameters. By following the World Health Organisation's (WHO) guidelines, SNA received GMP certification that represents the good quality products of International Standard. To suit the convenience of consumers, all the products are packed in user friendly containers.          

Unnimooss series Products

          “Unnimooss Series” products are a set of ayurvedic preparations formulated by sages and re-discovered from the ancient texts by SNA.  Meant for the benefit of Ayurveda Practitioners to cure various illnesses including modern-era diseases. These are time-tested products which are not commonly available in the market. The product range are highly efficacious and available in user-friendly packing. This is part of SNA’s policy to popularize classical preparations.

Export Division

             Our export division manages to reach customers in almost all parts of the world. Products are being exported to all parts of Europe, US, Russia, Middle East countries etc. Packing and labeling are modified to suit the countries regulations. We have all set up to supply our medicines to various countries by meeting their formalities and statutory rules & regulations.
